Rye Light is a lightweight top down pair of socks, part of Tin Can Knits' Simple Collection.
This can be a great beginning sock project if you're not intimidated by thin yarn and skinny needles. The pattern is for top down socks and the designers have great pictorials showing you the anatomy of a sock and the part you are currently working on. The company, Tin Can Knits, also offers many great video tutorials.
This kit comes with:
- the free Rye Light pattern
- For sizes Baby to Adult M: 1 skein of Schoppel-Wolle Boots
- For size Adult L: 2 skeins of Schoppel-Wolle Boots
Schoppel-Wolle Boots is 400m, 44% wool, 42% cotton, 14% nylon.
The pattern also recommends (not included, but available in our online shop):
- Stitch markers
- Darning needle
- US 0, 1, or 2 depending on your gauge (circular or DPN).
